About The Royal Ride - & Me

I am Jaull Loram.

I am a dreamer (who lives to make them come true), a restaurant/hospitality entrepreneur, a cooker (because being a chef is too complicated), and an explorer (looking in and reaching out).

My life and love for the culinary arts started in the San Francisco Bay Area, gained traction in Los Angeles, became more focused when I moved back to the Bay Area, and expanded exponentially while living and working in New York City.

I switched gears and took a break from food when I moved to New Jersey and opened a small specialty landscaping company designing and installing Koi ponds, waterfalls and streams.

A time came when choices needed to be made, to grow or not to grow.  Opportunities were explored, and a direction was picked.  I returned to the world of food, the world of restaurants and hospitality, the “work”, and the lifestyle that, simply put, I love!

Woven into my life experiences has been the great fortune to visit many far-off lands, experience amazing cultures, meet gracious and thoughtful people, and share food and drink to my heart’s (and stomach’s) delight and content.

My life has also seen many valleys and peaks, challenges (not failures) and successes.

One such twisty turny valley challenged me in ways I had never imagined, and included the deaths of family and friends and a project 5 years in the making that did not becoming reality.  These events slowed me down but have not dampened my spirit. As an optimist and entrepreneur, I will always reflect, reassess, embrace, move forward and continue to dream.

And then…The Royal Ride, a way to combine food, people, adventure and one last passion…my love for riding motorcycles.

A solo adventure around the world on a Classic Royal Enfield 500…Places to Explore, People to Meet & Food to Eat (waffles anyone?)

I’ll be joined by family and friends along the way and wherever I go I will eat (and cook) and raise glasses with as many of you as I can.

So, when you look at a Sunset or Moon Rise, when you see the Milky Way stretching across the night sky or a rainbow in the mist, know that we are connected and that you will always be a part of my life.
